Rain: Totals could be high. A few areas could receive up to 6" possible.

SPC has opted to issue a new tornado watch for parts of Alabama until 2a CT. A brief, isolated tornado is possible, but not especially likely. Heavier storms could produce small hail and strong gusty winds over the next few hours. Rain will be heavy at times.
