@Robert_Peake Pk north over some sandbelt og’s might be perfect evidence that the Instagram aesthetic dam wall has broken. Lake Karrinyup still feels underrated but Australia’s top 20 is really great right now so
Cathedral would be the only one id kick out.
@ryancavengolf The R&A needs to get The Open back to Muirfield before they waste any effort on the political and logistical nightmare that Turnberry is. A Walker cup at Turnberry would be more palatable for them I’d have thought.
@mikeclaytongolf@AusGolfPassport@LukasJMichel Could you flip the 3rd into the 6th and share the green with the 2nd, then make the par 5 go back down the hill to help find a better spot for the par 3 at the bottom of the property?
@AusGolfPassport@RuMacdonald@ukgolfguy This is a good mixture of the famous and not so famous , but all are well worth the effort. It is a trip I have been looking to do for a while as well.
@ukgolfguy Something like this at Royal Adelaide and from memory I think RM is similar at offering a lower rate if you hold a GA. A country’s golfing community gets better if it has the opportunity to visit the countries architectural wonders once and a while.
@gjackson16 Not sure the holes themselves let it down but the change in surroundings. The Cut just asks some better questions for me over Meadows and has a better set of greens too. Secret’s missing out over Freo, part of the reason for the harsh call.
Very interested in understanding why Meadow Springs is above The Cut, how Cottesloe beats out WA, and why Royal Freo makes the list—it's essentially Wembley with a larger fence around it."
There’s a new Australia Top 100 golf course ranking out from @GolfAustMag. The top end is world class obviously, but there’s so much to see beyond that too.
Good work from @BrendanJames2 and team.
@mikeclaytongolf Never earned a beer more than when I carried a staff bag around Joondalup for a mate. Carrying just feels like the natural thing to do, it looks right.
@ukgolfguy@TheTodaysGolfer@CJ_Bertram I was very grateful for this last year, when my money started to run thin after spending 5 months In middle England. I still think about Kington at least once a week.
