Continuing its sustained crackdown on drug networks, the Punjab Police arrested 129 drug smugglers and recovered 7.3 kg of heroin, 6.3 kg of ganja, 72 kg of poppy husk, 1,159 intoxicant pills and ₹42,420 in drug money from their possession.

Additionally, 22 individuals were counselled and persuaded to undergo de-addiction and rehabilitation treatment.
