PARIS FLIGHTS FROM CARDIFF RESUME
Low-cost airline Vueling has announced a new service from Cardiff to Paris, taking off on 2nd November 2021. The route will operate twice a week with flights on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Flights are now on sale and available to book.
The operators of the much loved Paddle Steamer "Waverley" have announced that, due to staff shortages, they will now not be able to sail south to the Bristol Channel this season. The trust had hoped to visit Penarth in September, but sailings will not now resume until next year.

Vale Council proposing to BAN Waiting along Lavernock Road, Penarth for entire length between St. Mary's Well Bay Rd. and Brockhill Rise on either side. Presumably to ensure compliance with new parking fees in Cosmeston Lakes Park. No stopping either. Object by 3rd September.
Residents in North Penarth are livid over plans to raise the height of an existing Mobile Phone mast to no less than 66 ft, approaching the tower height of nearby St. Augustine's Church. Noise, unsightly and inappropriate are just some of the words heard locally.
Graffitti is a real problem in Penarth at the moment. We are asking residents to tell the Vale Council about any you see on signs, cabinets or nameplates. [email protected] is your best contact for graffiti removal.
Will GBR (Great British Railways) take over the Penarth Branch in due course. Nationalisation may be the best answer for Welsh railways as things stand at present.

Labour is planning Tourism Tax for Wales. This will be a disaster for thousands who earn a hard working living in the industry, which employs around 10% of the Welsh Workforce. Anthony is working with friends in tourism to dump this unwanted tax on businesses across Wales.
