Some meetings remind you why you started.
9 years after we first met, my friend Piyush Jain brought the @ImpactGuru team to our Beijing office yesterday. I joined online from Shenzhen. Our partners at @WaterDrop_Inc hosted them all morning.
Different countries, same mission: making healthcare and insurance accessible to every family.
AI was the big topic — how it helps us respond faster when a family reaches out for help, and show up better in the hardest moments of their lives.
Grateful for fellow builders on the same journey. Onward.

时隔9年，又和老朋友Piyush Jain聊了很久。他带着CarePal Group的团队来到北京的水滴总部@WaterDrop_Inc，我因为在深圳出差，就通过线上方式参加了交流。隔着屏幕，还是很亲切。那种感觉，就像当年创业初期互相打气时一样，熟悉又踏实。

看到CarePal这些年在印度的发展，帮助了那么多患者和家庭，真心为他们高兴。我们一个在中国，一个在印度，怀着相近的愿望：帮大病患者筹款治病，让保险变得更加普惠。用一点点善意，撑起一个个家庭的希望。

这次聊得最多的是AI。我分享了分享了水滴在“AI原生”方面的探索。Piyush也希望借鉴水滴的经验，把AI融入众筹、保险和客户服务的每一个环节。聊来聊去，我们关心的都是很具体的事：能不能更快回应一次求助，让一个家庭少一些奔波、多一份保障？

这次交流还有一个让我很感慨的地方：借助@ComuAI_，我们能更顺畅地沟通，不必太担心语言障碍，也能更专注于交流本身。会后，我也送了他一台Comu，希望它能成为他的工作助手。我一直觉得，认真听懂彼此，是很多好想法、好合作的开始。

这些年创业，能遇到一些愿望相近、愿意分享经验的同行，是件幸运的事。大家从彼此的经历里学到东西，也得到继续往前走的勇气。

Insilico Medicine's Rentosertib — an AI-prioritized target, a generative-AI-designed molecule — has dosed its first patient in its Phase III trial (GENESIS-IPF-3) in China for idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, a progressive disease with no cure today.
Through WingFan, @WaterDrop_Inc 's clinical-trial services arm, our team supports patient recruitment and enrollment for this study.
Rentosertib is investigational and has not been approved by any regulatory authority. But every milestone like this is how new medicine earns its way to patients.

但现在，AI给了他们一个新希望。

全球首款由AI发现靶点、设计分子并进入Ⅲ期临床的候选药物，在中国完成了首例入组。

这不是“中国仿制”，这是“中国原创”。英矽智能团队借助AI，发现了肺纤维化的新治疗靶点，再针对它设计新分子。我们水滴旗下的翼帆医药，负责这项试验的患者招募，帮助符合条件、愿意参加的患者入组。

中国的科研、医院和企业，一起把原创探索向前推进，值得自豪。

@OrionWDH 它还在三期临床阶段，疗效和安全性都需要更大规模验证，离获批上市还有几步要走。但也正因为每一步都被严格检验，如果真的走到患者手里，那才是经得起检验的希望。这也是翼帆参与患者招募的意义——让验证更快、让更多合适的患者有机会参与。
