@Mavron22@MattWalshMedia The shots they used, how long they held them, the angles used in wrong scenarios. It just felt like producers who don't understand the game.
It's become all too common.
@FootnotesGuy I did some work on the TBM for Cross River Rail a couple of years ago. Electricians were earning something like $300k. If Snowy workers are getting a 25% increase on market rates, there's no chance the budget doesn't blow out again.
@bowtiedstocks The best part is apart from the big woke miner, the industry in general has done a great job of indigenous engagement and increasing diversity in meaningful ways that is still merit based. Many people given opportunities to become high tax payers that other industries havent.
@evcricket@FootnotesGuy The example you presented is exactly a bulk commodity mine. And you presented an article that shows a tiny fraction of the mine runs on solar and battery. Not even close to running a mine from renewables.
But sure, I'm making bullshit comments.
@evcricket@FootnotesGuy Idiotic to frame this as a bulk commodity mine operating off renewables. A small portion of the mine achieved 55% at some point in time.
There will be no bulk commodity mine run by renewables in my lifetime.
