I meant to tweet pithily impressive comments about my entirely unplanned but happy career in the digital world. As it turns out, it's mostly food and cricket.
@jsdhenderson Great review - by which I mean I agree with pretty well all of it! (Do you think everyone spotted the “clouds” shape from the second floor foyer wall appearing in the set, along with the light shades and the wooden wall?).
@HomeOfCricket hello - trying to download pass for a couple of days and it says “Your Pass is Generating This pass is currently generating - please try again later.”Is it me or is the system just very busy? Thanks!
@SabeehaMajid Well, there are a LOT of independent England fans who didn’t get them either - the tickets just vanished in minutes as soon as they appeared.
@ArtyBagger A white rose is associated with Yorkshire, not England, and it's considered to be the "Rosa alba 'Semi-Plena', an ancient, hardy white rose with five to eight petals and a distinct scent." Whereas the English rose is generally red and white, or just red. I rose to the bait!

@kobo 1/2 I dearly love my Kobo.I was that person who packed 12 books for a holiday and then couldn’t bear to leave any of them behind. I also dearly love real books. What I want is …
@madebygoogle Thank you, I have done so. They don’t know if it has been reported to the development team and they don’t know if a fix is due. Would you be able to help by finding out? It would be great to let the thousands of Fitbit users whose health plans are on hold know. Thanks :-)
@madebygoogle Hi. It isn’t me or my Fitbit. It’s your app - the last under-tested update ruined a piece of core functionality which thousands of people are using. “It really makes the nutrition tracking function of Fitbit worthless.” Can you show some pace here please, and roll back or fix?
@moniquephotos@bencooper So do I, but the driver gets a Thank You whereas the awaiter(s) get more of a Ta. Just in case they were constrained to wait rather than actively intending to. So as to plant a seed about what may have been a drive-by courtesy, but acknowledge it if it was indeed intended.
