@CityPowerJhb CP3512033 is still not resolved. Thieves returned at 4am this morning to steal the rest of cables. Today is the 5th day with no electricity on Juno Street Kensington. When is CP sending technician????
@CityPowerJhb REF NUMBER CP3512033 remains unresolved despite numerous posts and calls 0800003156. Please advise. No power due to cable theft. CP promised turn around of 24hrs. It's now day 3.
@CityPowerJhb No calls get through on CP call centre numbers. As soon as you are first in line after waiting for 30 mins the line drops. Please update on REF NUMBER CP3512033. No power due to cable theft
@CityPowerJhb Juno Street Kensington doesn't have electricity due to cable theft from electricity pole next to 47 Juno and in front of substation. Please advise on how long it will take to restore.
@CityPowerJhb can get thru 2 call centre: You hold for 30 mins to be first in line. Then the line drops. In the 5x I called I managed to get through 1×. The consultant who spoke to me could not have been more disinterested about the cable theft I was reporting. REF CP3512033.
@CityPowerJhb Reference number CP3512033. Day 3 with no electricity due to cable theft. I'm told by CP every time that the matter is being escalated. When will it be fixed?
@CityPowerJhb Reference number CP3512033. Please note the exposed cables. The thieves are sure to return this evening to finish the job if this is not attended to before that. Please advise.

Firstly, thank you for leaning forward and acknowledging the moment. I appreciate that you support non-aligned community initiatives. That's what I always thought until a significant shareholder and son of the founder implied otherwise.
However, you are not condemning Mark's attacks on me, including using a misogynistic term (bitch), repeatedly, prior to this moment. Dischem cannot place the two of us on the same footing or treat our statements as equivalents. He initiated the attack with his misogyny and a blatant lie that maligned me personally and professionally. I also note your safe avoidance of mentioning him by name and referencing the significant words that were an activator of my response: I.e that I received money from his mommy and you as an institution. Until you make it clear that this is false, and that a significant shareholder calling me a bitch is unacceptable, then your words below are.....okay, I guess, but lack moral conviction and steadfastness.

Why does your opening sentence say "US to impose sanctions" yet your voice over says Congress is CONSIDERING sanctions? Do you not see the difference between "US to impose sanctions" and "considering?" This bill has advanced from Committee to Congress. The House will vote. If it passes in the 435 member House, it goes to the Senate of 100 lawmakers. If it passes the Senate after intense debate, it THEN goes to the President for his signature. He may sign or veto it. So "US to impose sanctions" is the final step AFTER all these processes. However, the executive branch may pass sanctions via the Global Magnitsky Act - have they indicated to you ONLY that they are doing so? No? So why "US to impose sanctions?"
This frame of my fave and mentee @ZiyandaNgcobo is a thing of beauty. It just illustrates her willingness to tell the story from the seat of royalty to Nkandla to the media scrum with dignity and grace.
Love it 📸 Jaco Marais.
Yesterday I cried.
I do not cry easily. It was not tears of sadness. Quite contrary, it was a response to good news. 2 of the 7 unfunded students we have been paying accommodation for got NSFAS funding. That means we are left with 5 for accommodation and fees plus other unfunded students.
