Called the top on $INTC earlier in the year.
Down to the decimal point.
A 22%+ move to the downside on an earnings beat is WILD.
Q3 wasn't the problem, revenue inline.
Guidance for quarter 4 changed and reset all near term expectations. Stock's been mondo extended after a massive run.
The reset creates opportunity.
$GOOG missed. They're down 9% in AH.
Revenue soft, EPS crushed by an $8.7B mark to market hit on equity stakes.
Search growth decelerated, ads underperformed.
Cloud did its job (+103%), but the market only cares about the ad engine right now.
Berkshire and Druckenmiller both added aggressively in Q2. I've read the filings.
Price just got handed to us below their cost basis.
Watching for a clean technical entry over the next few sessions/weeks. (stocks/long)
These guys don't miss. I'm patient.
Your question is as old as the faith itself. Augustine of Hippo (400ish AD) wrote that the New Testament is concealed in the Old and the Old Testament in the New. He argued that God acts like a doctor who changes the medication (laws and covenants) based on the disease state (sin). In his view, God's severity in the Old Testament was necessary to prepare stubborn, ancient people for Christ's Grace. Thomas Aquinas (1200s AD) looked at it a bit differently. He argued that the Old Law was given to stop external actions through fear of punishment in an undeveloped society. (similar to how an ancient parent would raise a child) The New Law, ushered in by Jesus, transforms the heart and relies on love and reason (similar to how an ancient parent would relate to their older children). C.S Lewis (1940s-60s) wrote two amazing books "Reflections on the Psalms" and "Mere Christianity." I highly recommend you at least read "Mere Christianity." Most of all, I offer this not because I'm pedantic but because I want you to know you're not the only person to struggle with these questions
$4.5k+ on $SNOW calls. Entered two weeks ago today, was IMMEDIATELY red on the position.
Market has had a rough few weeks between Fed annoucements, AI spending fears, scheduled rate hikes, oil/Hormuz and treasury yields.
While downtrending I added at key support levels instead of closing out the position. Saved myself from a loss and instead turned a profit.
Had to constantly ignore the retail masses and their media overlords claiming that the bubble is not only here, but it's ready to pop. All noise.
A few companies overextended themselves, they will be corrected. Some names will disappear outright. However, bearish market wide narratives are pushed by establisment to steal your positon/liquidity.
You may need to limit or exit single positions, you do NOT need to dump your portfolio right now.
Fundamentally the AI data platform narrative is intact (product revenue still compounding mid to high 30s, guidance raised) but the valuation and the accelerating “bubble” narrative had already priced in a lot of perfection. So we corrected.
Still got a big week ahead of us...
FOMC decision TOMORROW.
Thursday: GDP, Spending & PCE numbers.
Friday: (Oct 30th) Emplowment Cost index.
Averaged down on $SNOW near the $319 double bottom. Sitting near $333 now. Adding before the bounce cut the loss down by 65%.
If we don’t get follow through I’m probably out tomorrow for a small L.
Not letting theta grind this down.
The seeker will always want to seek the truth, but unearned wisdom ruins the seeker, so God breaks him down, humbles him, destroys his need to know, and then gives him the truth in breadcrumbs. Any other revelation comes from the demons of pride, who will gladly show the seeker almost everything, yet leave out the most important part: Love.
$TSLA $META both beat expected EPS today. Why is this huge? The Street was pricing in a multi billion dollar cash burnout on the deluge of AI spending. Turns out Musk’s balance sheet is faaar from torched. Capex came in lighter than feared
Meta’s core ad engine + AI product velocity still compounding.
This bubble ain’t poppin yet.
The AI trade isn’t over.
She was sent by God to kill the weak, stupid, naive version of you that once existed.
Be fucking grateful.
You trusted words. Ignored red flags.
Confused attention with loyalty.
You weren't in love.
You were drunk on your own imagination.
She didn't just break your heart. She murdered your illusions. The fairy tales. The blind trust.
The belief that loving someone guarantees they'll love you right.
Reality punched you in the fucking mouth.
Now say thank you.
You thought being a good man would protect you from being played.
Life doesn't reward stupidity just because you have good intentions.
A pure heart without discernment is always a liability.
I've lost sleep
I've lost focus
I've lost dignity chasing answers, chasing Truth.
All because I allowed one broken person to decide my worth. I've never handed anybody that weapon again.
You become a man when you finally understand:
Words are cheap. Beauty is common.
Attention is not commitment.
And loyalty means absolutely nothing until it's TESTED
Congratulations:
Your innocence has finally received its funeral.
Don't spend life hating her, which only keeps you chained to the same lesson.
Take the pain
Take the wisdom
Leave the bitterness in the fucking grave.
The naive boy had to die for the disciplined man to arise.
Guy on WallStreetBets has $1M+ in trading losses this year and is looking to marry someone with $1M+ in capital gains…
They will offset and split the savings.
I love this country.
Friendly Reminder:
If your income has not risen by at least 30% since Covid hit, you are now poorer.
And that is using the government’s own data.
The real number is likely 40% plus.

CPI just released: Hawkish on Core (Very High impact)
Headline: +0.6% m/m / +3.7% y/y
(in line with energy-driven expectations)
Core: +0.3% m/m / +2.6% y/y
(hotter than the ~0.2% / 2.4% consensus)
This will make our $SNOW options call a little more difficult. Watching price fluctuations today to decide whether to exit or add.
