I dreamt of my daddy this morning, which is rare. He was near, watching me, but not talking to me. He looked happy, content, young, and healthy. I awoke with a smile on my face, trying to hold on to every second of the dream…trying to understand what it meant. Then, I remembered. Today was that day. This was the morning. 32 years ago, my daddy went to sleep and didn’t wake up. It was the worst day of my life. I am now one year older than my daddy was when he died at 55. I am reminded of how young and full of life he was when he passed. I’ll try and remember the dream today, and hold on to the smile I had this morning. But for now, the tears just won’t stop. I just miss him so much. #majorlance

Number One a Artist should not ever be intimidated by any machinery. Our engagement should always be One at a time, machinery has made it a race for numbers. Its the reason when i teach Artists to NOT mimic photo actuality and challenge a camera other than a hand eye workout . Keep your mistakes it’s your signature. A..I is McDonalds we know billions will be sold. The masses will eat it and you sound crazier telling them to stop. Your ART is fine cuisine you have to engage with your customers/ audience one by one and they’ll come back and be considered your ‘clientele’ this perspective will possibly save your mind and make you ENJOY THE CRAFT

Doris Miller had no gunnery training. He was a mess attendant — that’s all the Navy let Black sailors be in 1941. When the bombs hit Pearl Harbor, he ran toward the guns anyway, dragged wounded men to safety, and fought back until he ran out of ammo.

He was the first Black American ever awarded the Navy Cross.

Donald Trump got four draft deferments and a “bone spurs” diagnosis nobody can find a doctor’s name attributed to. He has never worn the uniform, never taken fire, never done a single thing that required courage. Ever.

The Navy named a future carrier after Miller in 2020 — first ever named for an enlisted sailor, first for a Black American. Now they’re reportedly considering stripping his name off it to put Trump’s on instead.

A coward’s name, on a hero’s ship. That should make everyone sick.
