Not the best photo sorry (and it looks like our coffee machine is operated by a giraffe!) but if you want a coffee (or gin!) and are at the #plsa investment conference, then come and see us at our stand (also keen to talk #esg and #fiduciarymanagement )
Super looking forward to chairing this session with @aubreydegrey and @sjayolshansky It was lots of fun when I did it last year - be great to hear what’s been happening with #ageing#longevity over the last year from these two leaders in the field.
As things have to be a little different this year😷, we've created Amazon wish list & Crowdfunder donation options for our Xmas campaign🎄The price of a cuppa☕️ could provide a gift for someone in need.

Enjoyed writing this piece with the great Howard Kearns, sharing some of my views on the future of longevity hedging, and covering younger members (where a lot of the risk resides): https://t.co/POj7UUriow
Doing some colouring in with my youngest this morning (as you do). The 3 (randomly - I thought) selected colours she handed me all appear to be on-brand @PwC colour palette. Who says branding/marketing doesn’t work!
Really excited to be sponsoring this exciting (virtual!) conference. Looking forward to discussing the impact Covid will have on longevity assumptions and derisking transactions. See you there #longevityleaders
Most importantly for the government, they hope that most GPs might now fall outside the taper system, removing the disincentive to work. Very high earners, those with Adjusted Income over £300k, will also see their Annual Allowance fall from £10k to £4k. 2/2 @PwC_UK#budget2020
This chancellor has chosen to leave the pensions tax system largely as it is, but to increase the Annual Allowance tapering threasholds by £90k. So, we still have all the complexities of the current pensions tax system but fewer people caught in the net. 1 /n @PwC_UK#budget2020
This longevity bulletin was issued by @actuarynews in 2015. Edited by @JosephLu2011 with input from @CrystalliseL and other expert contributors. Much of the content is highly relevant today.

Delighted to have taken part in this. I think the piece raises some really interesting questions for pensions funds, insurers, reinsurers and, well, all of us!
@dscullylimerick@jasonomahony I do fear we may need a (hopefully modest) combination of all 3 in order to rebalance our pensions systems and ensure they are sustainable.
@MyMoneyAlive Thanks @MyMoneyAlive - I know, isn’t it sweet! You would have thought we had the weight of the world on our shoulders! My band mates pull it rather better than me. They actually look cool - I just look like I’m very mildly constipated.
@deValoisPens Thanks @deValoisPens , a quick check of amazon shows our second album (weirdly still available and a bargain at 99p) is 1,842,830th in the best sellers chart - so I won’t give up the day job!
