@Shar_A_ I was always more of a Stones person. Quite dismissive about The Beatles.
A few years ago, I ended up as a singer in a band. Not being any kind of musician, I articulated this point.
I soon learned the complexity and innovation of The Beatles' music. Now have huge respect 👍🏼
@Leonidastrength I've had the belief, too.
For context, these are two results against recently promoted teams BUT it still doesn't hide the possession, pressing play and positive player attitude from day 1.
Vamos Arbeloa and Fulham!
#Arbeloa#FFC#FulhamFC
No player in the Premier League this season has had more touches in the opposition box than Fulham's Josh King (48).
His teammate, Gonzalo Garcia, has made more off-ball runs ending in the box than anyone else (80).

@Leonidastrength Arbeloa losing the dressing room is the usual press 'pile on' against a club / manager that doesn't stroke their over-inflated ego in press conferences or around the club.
I've seen it close up when I was involved at the club in a very minor role.
The press hold grudges.
For anyone that hasn't read / listened to @Mike_Batt 's autobiography, I heartily recommend it.
Funny, touching, insightful - you'll be richly rewarded!
An excerpt from my memoir "THE CLOSEST THING TO CRAZY" - " I don’t know what it was about my songs that so much attracted Prince, but to be doing two of mine on stage was a great surprise that gave me an enormous psychological boost. More heady, still, was the day when he called me up at home.
“Hey man, I love your song “If You Were A Sailboat” but it’s got girl-centric lyrics. Can I change a cuppla words, would that be OK?”
He was ultra laid back but very polite and I was impressed by his courtesy, because most artists would just change the words and not tell you. He wanted to change the line” If you were a cowboy I would trail you” to “If you were a gypsy I would trail you”. That was it. Of course I agreed, I was delighted.
About a week later his office sent me an mp3 of the track. It sounded fantastic. He’d made the lyric changes and added a really cool beat to it. What I didn’t notice in my excitement, was that he’d snuck another word change in. Where I had written “If you were a preacher I’d begin to change my ways” he’d substituted “If you were a witness I’d begin to change my ways”. I’d forgotten he was a Jehovah’s Witness. Anyway it didn’t bother me when I noticed it." https://t.co/an3E4Y2jUN
Unfortunately, TalkSport are quite happy to talk absolute bollocks.
Southgate, himself, has said he doesn't want a Premier League job and lost the buzz of winning games.
They have an agenda against Fulham, it appears.
Really appreciate the thoughtful response and, being honest, I can't disagree with you.
I think, given the potential for being lost in translation, his comment about Madrid was more to demonstrate he's faced significantly worse pressure.
You clearly have a much better understanding of AA and his history and I defer to that.
Parker - don't get me started... 🤬
Here's to Hull... 🤞🏼
Fulham have sounded out Thomas Frank to potentially replace Alvaro Arbeloa, sources have told Football Insider 🇩🇰

@eDevelopmentUK Su'mae Gareth!
Good question. I think one has to be more photogenic than I.
Today, apparently, was my 38th donation. Much lower number than it should have been, over the years.
@DuceSha That wasn't deemed a foul but, when Josh King ran towards 16st Slabhead Harry, he fell to the ground like he'd been kneecapped. No foul.
There is a clear 'big team' bias with refereeing in this country. Be it intentional or subconscious.
VAR makes it all the clearer.
