More money is stolen from people’s wages than the cost of all car thefts, larcenies, burglaries, & robberies combined every year. But we hear almost nothing about it. This is how crime is socially constructed: focus on a little petty crime but ignore massive wage theft.
A disabled #StopCopCity organizer is being held in DeKalb County Jail. They are one of the three targeted by the state for operating a bail fund. This is political persecution and everyone needs to call to demand their release.
