"Hot mic moment reflects contentiousness of I-90 project"
The remark seemed to capture the frustration of the state team, which has had little luck building trust with local residents and their advocates.

Run Trains, Don't Park Them In Allston
Is 5 acres in Allston is the best place in Boston to store idle midday trains? What if instead we ran 15-minute Worcester Line service all day and 1000 new apartments were built on that land? https://t.co/RBZAD3phzJ

Tibbits-Nutt comments raise questions about I-90 #Allston funding - Money for final design, initial construction not included in capital investment plan

Speak up for a better #Allston footbridge - MassDOT is accepting comments until June 24 about a rebuilt bridge over the Pike from Harvard Ave / Cambridge St to Franklin St / Lincoln St. More details at https://t.co/rMc3MhDj97
@NoRiskPainting I don't think MassDOT is considering leaving the existing bridge as-is. It is 60 years old, not in great structural condition, and is not ADA compliant. Cambridge Street is going to be rebuilt with a lower, flatter profile which doesn't work with the existing footbridge
@dannickx If the design uses the minimum necessary clearance over the train tracks and highway, then the slope and length of ramps can be minimized too
@dannickx the Dutch Design Manual teaches us that shorter & steeper can be more difficult than a longer path with a gentler slope (which is consistent with the ADA requiring steeper ramps to have landings that can be used as resting places)
https://t.co/NiaxUknGlX
@dannickx my understanding is that the footbridge can be considered either an "accessible route" (with a max slope of 5%) or a "ramp" (with a max slope of 8.3% & landings required for every 30" of vertical gain)

Focus on Charles River shoreline design & traffic modeling
@wbz@davidwade That depiction of the new housing and new park space is very incorrect. Here is what @massdot is really planning & Harvard isn't building a bunch of detached 1 & 2 unit homes
