@mkainerugaba Correct , this is 1985 , Mzee @KagutaMuseveni talks to a journalist on phone 📞 . “The issue is not posts and positions, the main issue is stability of the country “
The world doesn't need more powerful leaders.
It needs humane ones.
Our CEO Janet Jobson joined @CapeTalk's Clarence Ford to discuss Leading for Humanity, the Desmond & Leah Tutu Legacy Foundation's 10-day immersive leadership programme inspired by the legacy of Archbishop Desmond Tutu and Mrs Leah Tutu.
The 2026 Cohort of emerging leaders recently came together to grapple with this:
What does it mean to lead from conscience rather than power?
Rooted in ubuntu. Grounded in moral courage, truth-telling, empathy, and healing. Designed for a world that desperately needs all of the above.
The Arch faced down apartheid with truth, a cross, a laugh and the love of his life. It is a leadership practice. And it begins within.

When we were fighting , we didn't know who would survive , our main focus was never about positions but we were much focused on liberating our country . It was the most important task at the moment , positions came later . @KagutaMuseveni#ConversationsWithKaguta
@KagutaMuseveni appears on a phone interview and declares how he is not interested in positions and power but political stability of the country and service. This is November 1985 in between the shackles of a serious war .

Today, I spent time with the team at @SautiPlus, reflecting on who we are and where we are going.
At our core, we shared that we are not just a communications agency, but a behaviour change institution committed to influencing how people think, act, and ultimately live. That responsibility calls for more than creativity; it calls for integrity, teamwork, and a deep sense of shared purpose.
We spoke about strengthening our collaboration, showing up for one another, and building a culture rooted in trust and accountability. The impact we seek, especially in transforming the lives of young people, can only be achieved when we move as one.

I visited learners under @UNDPUganda’s 𝐅𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 at the Makerere Innovation Pod @MakUnipod, where I encouraged them to keep exploring new innovations and to take advantage of the African Continental Free Trade Area #AfCFTA.
I urged them to use their gained knowledge and skills to build a vibrant fashion industry in Uganda, one that can create numerous jobs and opportunities for many people especially the #Youth.

The Pre-Annual Lecture Dialogue with Francesca Albanese (@FranceskAlbs), UN Special Rapporteur and speaker of this year’s Annual Lecture, sparked urgent conversations about accountability and business responsibility.
Her report, The Economy of Occupation to Economy of Genocide, shows how corporate actions have contributed to occupation and conflict and how the private sector can help build just and sustainable economies.

💬"We need to lift community voices… recognise and trust their knowledge and ensure we provide tools and flexible funding for them to collect data and indigenous traditions into observatories for decision-makers to consider all opinions." Stated @daktari1, Group CEO, @Amref_Worldwide at the launch of the Collective Minds Climate x Health Council Report at #UNGA80.
