I get a ton of requests to meet up or collaborate
First of all, you should know that I have several rules listed in my VRChat bio
Most importantly, I’d like you to keep your impulses and language in check when you join me in a friend+ session
I have way too many people around me who are just after sex, so please move on if that’s you
Remember that we’re human and we all have lives, and sex is absolutely not a priority
I love meeting people, yes, but the whole “I want to hang out with you, but you’re always in friend+ gaming or chill sessions” thing…
So yeah, what’s the problem with just coming to talk to me or say hi?
I love talking with my friends every day in VR, of course.
I’m not the type to constantly shut myself off in my own little world. I understand that some people are afraid of social interactions, but once again, I’ll be blunt—why have that fear in VR?
For me, who’s super shy, well, in VR that’s definitely not the case. Sometimes it’s a social platform—you’re here to meet people and socialize—so please stop with the whole “I don’t like big instances” thing. Yeah, you’re shy or weird, I don’t know, but please, VR isn’t real life. For me, isolating myself from the game makes no sense at all.
@ElybsAD This post is great more people need to hear this it's ridiculous just cause its vr and not real life doesn't mean you can be disrespectful of people and their boundaries
Hmm... I've heard a lot of discussions about this, and it keeps coming back to me.
Believe me or not, some content creators in this community have lost my trust, and there's a chance you already follow some of them.
Sadly, I'm not in a position to provide proof, so you'll have to take that as my personal opinion.
Just remember not to let frustration consume you.
Some creators know that people are looking for affection, intimacy, sexual content, or simply a sense of connection, and they may use those emotions to encourage purchases. That's simply how some forms of marketing work.
I've experienced similar feelings myself, although I honestly don't care much about sex.
Still, I know that many people find themselves in that situation, and it's important to stay aware of how emotions can influence our decisions.
Some of you don't even have much money, yet you still spend it on paid content just to get a reaction from a creator, access private VRChat content, or ERP-related material.
You're spending a lot while already being in a difficult situation, simply because you're trying to make yourself feel better for a moment. I don't think that's healthy.
For the love of God, support artists who create things for the community. Support people who genuinely want you to have a good time, people who care about you and not just your wallet.
I'm one of them. This isn't about my ego, I honestly don't give a fuck about that anymore.
The truth is that all of you saved me.
I don't know if I would have made it out of my depression if my community hadn't been there for me.
You gave me everything I ever wanted : support, kindness, communication, and good vibes.
You've always been attentive and caring toward me.
That's why I will never lock my renders or VRChat videos behind permanent paywalls.
Everything I make eventually becomes public. Patreon only gets early access.
I don't want to profit from people's frustration, loneliness, or emotional struggles.
I'm just like you.
All I want is for content creators to genuinely care about the people who support them.
Unfortunately, in my opinion, some creators completely fail at that.
Some take advantage of people's kindness, emotional vulnerability, and trust, and that's something I can never respect.
