Given the pitfalls of coding agents and their non-deterministic nuances, we are excited to announce AXON.

AXON, Atop eXecution Orchestration Network, is an open-source protocol and plugin from Atop Web Technologies for AI coding agents like Codex, Antigravity, and Claude Code.

The problem we are solving is simple but painful:

AI coding agents are fast, but they drift.

They forget product intent.
They lose design decisions.
They ignore previous architecture.
They break workflows.
They sometimes implement before they understand.

AXON introduces a protocol to fix this:

Context first.
Specification second.
Implementation third.
Verification always.

To demonstrate it end to end, we created a codelab where we use AXON to build a Microbank application from scratch, then continue with a brownfield feature on top of the existing codebase.

The codelab covers initialization, product context, tech stack decisions, planning, implementation, investigation, inspection, recovery, and iteration.

This is not just a demo for us. This is the workflow we are now using at Atop Web Technologies to build production systems with AI assistance while keeping engineering discipline in place.
