It's been 3 days without a reply from the TCL Protect team, despite claims that the issue has been escalated.
Really poor customer service for a paid warranty service.
@skytechgaming 12V-2x6 issues aside, high tier models would need to be $700 max, with entry around $600-650.
Holding out to see how the 9070 XT looks when it comes time to replace my ailing 3080.
@iBUYPOWER Nah. 16GB of RAM and i5/R5 processors just don't cut it for me anymore. Might be okay for my kids that only play Minecraft/Fortnite, but that'd be about it.
@JakeParkerLIVE I love working remote when communication is solid, and organizational changes don't have me wondering if we're going to get canned, and our jobs shipped overseas.
@TCL_USA TCL sent me a downgraded TV (Q550F) instead of my 5-Series S546 without notice. It has worse picture & sound (no local dimming).
Support is ignoring my request for a fair replacement under warranty. How do we fix this?
@JayzTwoCents Idk why they don't just update the EPS12V spec to accommodate transient spikes better for mainstream GPU use. Those cables are already rated for like ~300w each and have been around for over a decade.
@pmmoussa@WriteTh3Future@elonmusk@DOGE If anything, municipalities should treat emergency services the exact same way they treat water/sewer/trash in cities. A clearly defined bill that goes over the services you receive. Allow people to purchase alternatives (e.g. privately owned services) just like trash removal.
@pmmoussa@WriteTh3Future@elonmusk@DOGE I disagree. There should be a luxury tax on new purchases that are not essential or necessary for living or daily function (food, clothes, shelter, transportation, medicine, etc).
Once you purchase land, that should be the end of it. (1/2)
@ASUS_ROGUK If the refresh rate is low, it might look like your the cartoons you watch are jumping around a lot, like when you flip through the pages of your favorite picture book. If the refresh rate is high, they will look like they are moving just like in real life. π
