Customer:

I did something really risky!

I invested almost all my business money. Actual money I was actively using to run my business.

After clicking confirm, I just stared at my screen for like two minutes thinking: “God abeg 😭”

Because what if I suddenly needed the money? What if I had just made the dumbest financial decision of my life?

For the first few weeks, I kept checking the app every five business days like a stressed parent. Then life happened and a few months later, my phone spoiled badly. The kind where your phone starts overheating and randomly going off like it has given up on life.

I was stressed because replacing it would affect my business cash flow badly. I already started calculating all the things I’d have to postpone. Then I remembered the investment. 

I opened the app and froze. Because the profit alone was enough to sort the phone issue. Actually, enough to upgrade it.

I know this sounds dramatic, but that moment changed the way I think about money. Because before then, money only left my account, but for the first time in my life, my money came back with friends.

And the funniest part is that I almost never started because I thought investing was for rich people. Now I understand that sometimes wealth is having breathing room when life happens unexpectedly.
