南アジアの文学作品の舞台になった都市をプロットしたマップ。英印文学がメインだけど現地語のものも多少はある。日本に１本だけピンが立っていて、何かと見てみたらKintsugi（Anukrti Upadhyay）という小説だった。これが流行りのもとだったのか。

2022年に『カーンターラ』を初見したとき何か書いていただろうかと遡ってみたけど、主にロケ地のことだった。最初に出てきた王の宮殿はマンガルールのPilikula Guthu Mane。明治村みたいな保存建築で誰でも見学できるらしい。

Veteran filmmaker #Bharathiraja, one of Tamil cinema's most influential storytellers, has passed away at the age of 85 in Chennai following health complications.

Known for redefining Tamil cinema with classics like 16 Vayathinile and directing over 40 films across a remarkable career spanning decades, Bharathiraja also made a lasting mark as an actor. His final unreleased work was Pulavar.

The Tamil Film Producers Council, along with several members of the film fraternity, mourned his loss, remembering him as a legendary filmmaker whose contributions shaped generations of cinema lovers and storytellers.

Veteran Malayalam actor, comedian, writer and director #SalimKumar passed away on Saturday night at the age of 56.

The actor breathed his last at a private hospital in Kochi, where he had been undergoing treatment for pneumonia and related health complications.

His death was confirmed at 10.43 pm, bringing to a close a career that spanned nearly three decades and transformed the landscape of Malayalam cinema.
