Now I have to pay almost double for a place for my family to stay and @AirbnbHelp will not cover the additional cost. This is how Airbnb treats its guests, and long term customers?

@AirbnbHelp My host cancelled an Airbnb booking 5 days before arrival. A 38 day stay which I booked 3 months in advance.

I was forced to pay an additional $2,000 to secure a last minute alternative.

Neither the original host nor @Airbnb @AirbnbHelp cover the difference. Is this fair?
