2025 was wonderful; several scientific publications, two international collaboration grants awarded, several graduates students completed, successful field courses, being nominated on Wildlife Use Rights (UWA) and Wildlife Hazard and Management committees (UCAA). I am humbled๐
The Uganda Civil Aviation Authority (UCAA) has marked a significant milestone in aviation safety by launching a National Committee on Wildlife Hazards Management, dedicated to reducing wildlife strike risks, particularly from birds, near airports & in Ugandan airspace.
