@Rosesaremorered@DetiousMage@Rea_Y_Dani@Polterghast Nswish was actually present in the era where sunix was the best player for quite a while, she was pretty good but used fps bypass at the time so many didnt realize her achievements. Regardless if sunix never stopped seriously playing I'm not sure if Nswish would have became #1
@Dream1246825021@Adriyunnn@Polterghast he had that progress on zodiac and the golden after ALSO not playing for a good while, at least not competitively, he largely stopped being competitive after 2018. Not to mention back then he was progressing way faster than top players at those time periods too.
@Topunito@Polterghast thing is that he didnt really play seriously when he got 75% on the golden or 80% on zodiac, both of which he got absurdly fast (<20k attempts when he beat them), like faster than the best players at the time probably wouldve. He only really came back from time to time.
@TheOGM3nace@_pancakes4@opcx__ Luckily Zoink wants Tsunami to be his ultimate, it WILL be the level that his identity will be linked to, and probably will be the final level he verifies.
@Arida59@sheeler34846@SLDGHAMMR10@d4rrels top 20 ILL is thousands of times harder than aeternus, hundreds of 480 fps frame perfects, 2 player ship parts where one does impossible straightfly with orbs and the other does 3000fps frame perfect timings.
Placements on the ILL are exponential.
@qyolake@santiagoteam05@Polterghast Sunix did have some competition, it his later years it was wooshi, but aside from him it was pretty weak. There IS endlevel but he was a hacker, and even then wasnt even better than sunix
@tm2b_qw@999Cyan ... multiple other remakes of sonic wave and bloodbath. Additionally he almost beat the mainlist at the time (top 50) with only 2 levels not completed. He also tended to beat levels in record speeds, and generally no one except wooshi in later periods matched him.
@tm2b_qw@999Cyan He's in the top 3 for GOATs, around Nswish, but behind zoink. Sunix: verified top 1s: athanatos, sonic wave, death corridor Z, all in low attempts for their time (and all accidentally). He also beat Catabath, Multibath, Sonicbath, Invisibath, Invisiwave, and...
@JanC3381 Sunix and Skullo both publically stated their prepractice, Zoink lied about exactly what he prepracticed. We dont have much info on Skullo but Sunix prepracticed ~6.5k attempts, but then knobbelboy told him to stop, and he stopped. I can understand why others are upset.
@Vernosis How did you come back in 2019, get 80% on zodiac, and 65 on it in 3k attempts (other top players thought he was attempt lying) then come back later in 2020, and get 75% on the golden in like ~10k attempts or something.
Like how do you just attempt those jumps so casually???
@fhgssxxc@opcx__ Sunix pre-practiced for 6.5k attempts on bloodlust until knobbelboy told him to stop, and then he stopped, Zoink prepracticed without Wpopoff's knowledge and then lied about it. Riot, Technical, Nswish, Wooshi did not do this as far as I can remember.
@sunaisx@Zoarby236 This is the most attempts you've ever spent on a level right? before this it was sonic wave which had ~36k but that one had like over half attempts that were 60Hz
@Zetrow9@CubicMold3483@Polterghast Not really, top 1s back then didnt take as long as now, but they still took time, sunix was just sort of an outlier. He has 3 unique top 1s (Athanatos, Sonic Wave, Death Corridor Z) all of which were "accidental completions" and then theres catabath, multibath, invisiwave, etc.
@usere7b0xnz2hl@Polterghast I think Sunix was further ahead of his time than Zoink is, and I would place him at #2 above Nswish (very close though) but I cant see him above zoink, too much longevity and too many achievements.
