@GoodwinMJ All using the same words as well - 'hissy fit' for example. Is there an Establishment central command instructing on how to use language (for the many who cannot on their own string a sentence or two together?)
@JamesMelville That is hopefully what comes out of this - & one hopes a realistic debate about MPs' finance, security, what kind of scrutiny is needed. Otherwise it's open to make claims & say 'he is guilty of...' when nothing is proved. Look at Little Kemi & Ed Davey saying Farage is guilty
@Englishgentlem9@afneil The Tories have made clear than they too would like this to happen - another leftwing party cheering on an anti-Brexit BBC man posing with a bin on his head
@afneil Apologies - having re-read it I can see that now... I suspect the Burnham bounce might have been dissipated by the long lead-in to his coronation. Weariness has set in - unless he does something brilliant of course (like giving the voters a week off to celebrate the event)
@DPJHodges Yes, making false statements and showing she has a tendency to convict people on the basis of her own accusations with no evidence of any conviction. She's really killing it. Killing her chances. But then she can go into coalition with Labour after the election
@spectator This really is the point - in the rush to attack or defend, commentators with an axe to grind miss that this by election has already aired the awkward relationship between recent govts & cash. And criminality in cases like Louise Haigh & Tulip Siddique + Burnham's wife's millions
@sophielouisecc More bourgeois leftie patronising stuff - amazing how they use old fashioned terms like 'could be in Parliament making a difference'. The woman is obviously a bit barmy
@Arron_banks Good point...and sadly for her, Little Kemi does indeed march to the beat of the Farage drum - all the rushing to catch up and imply they will do the things that Reform certainly will do (& of course the Tories will not do if we are barmy enough to ever let them near power again.
@nicholaswatt@CountBinface@BBCNewsnight Love how the patronising middle class lefties (ie Tories, Labour and LibDems) attempt to divert onto this kind of procedural rubbish. "Phwah phwah what a hoot old chap".
@CraigLiddell7@KemiBadenoch Sadly little Kemi is not gaining much, partly because in recent interviews the Tories seems almost proud of having swamped the UK with millions of migrants - people like Gove seem to say they are fine with it as long as we decided to do it and not the EU
@afneil Not sure this poll show the Farage travails taking a toll on Reform. The 8 point lead is one of their best recently. It'll be interesting to see polls in the next week. The focus on money will not see anyone come out well - highlighting it may cause issues for all the parties
@Jake_Ventham The curious thing about this poll is that the Establishment are citing it as proof of the 'implosion' of Reform. In a few months when their lead has narrowed this is one of the best. 8pt lead
@TheMercianNews Just a shame there were no journalists on the programme to ask such questions, and make the obvious point, correcting a lie or false statement
@MCWebDev1@TiceRichard Indeed many are waiting for the money laundering investigation into Andy Burnham's wife's millions handed over to the family by local taxpayers in Manchester. Good point and thx for reminding. The Farage one concluded exactly a week after it was begun
@SkyNews 'Found breaking the rules'. Farage hasn't been. Shame there wasn't a journalist there to challenge the lie. This was what Davey said about the postmasters as he hounded innocent people to their suicides. But then he made a fortune out of his squalid involvement so all good
@BenGrahamUK This was what he said about the postmasters as he hounded innocent people to their suicides. "They've been found breaking the rules"...when they hadn't. But then he made a fortune out of his squalid involvement so all good
