Morning STEM classes are building robots that we will code to run autonomously in 7th grade and using zSpace to learn about the engineering design process by building homes for their new pet dinosaur in 5th grade. We love being back in the lab! @PeruParkside

Congratulations to Coach Kasik and the 8th grade volleyball team on winning the Regional Championship in a very competitive match against Bureau Valley! They will play the winner of Pontiac and El-Paso Gridley on Thursday, 3/18 -  5:00pm start here at Parkside.  Go Raiders!

Congratulations to Coach Backes and the 7th grade volleyball team on winning the Regional Championship! They will play the winner of Morris Saratoga and El-Paso Gridley on Wednesday, 3/17 at 4:30pm at Parkside. Great job coaches and girls!

School will be closed for Peru Elementary School District on Tuesday, Feb. 16 due to inclement weather. There will be NO remote learning. Stay safe!

Parkside Middle School eighth grade graduation ceremony date has been set for Thursday, May 20 at 7:00 p.m.  More details will be shared in the coming months.  Please be aware that a full in-person graduation will be dependent upon IDPH health and safety guidelines.

Pastor Tom Redig of St John’s Lutheran Church in Peru and his wife Patty led an effort to fill the Christmas Food Baskets for 10 Peru Elementary families. By the date of delivery to the district, 33 baskets were filled! THANK YOU Pastor Tom and parishioners of St. John’s!
