@jeremyjudkins_ The only real exception here is people who have free charging work. If you can charge any day of the week while at work, you’ll probably do fine not charging at home.
@SnazzyLabs I was not going to buy one ... but now that it's out I'm starting to feel like I might need to buy one. I still probably shouldn't ... but maybe ...
@elonmusk@wholemars You should send the recall notice as a message delivered to the car … and only for cars that don’t not have the fix deployed (with an “update now” button to address it).
@SBeitelshees@DirtyTesLa It really isn’t designed for games the way the Quest devices are. No controllers and no real games ready at launch. It’s more of a business and productivity focused device. Whether this was a good strategy remains to be seen.
@jxrbot@thomashawk That’s absolutely not true. A locked iPhone and a locked modern Android phone are literally worthless if you can’t unlock them. No way to wipe without the original account password. Idiots who don’t set pins on their phones make phone theft viable.
@TJPofTexas@JesseLi48096164 You may be confusing this with stock awards (aka RSUs) which do have value when you get them - but even there you pay tax as income on the value when they vest. It doesn't matter what they were worth when they were granted.
@TJPofTexas@JesseLi48096164 That is not how it works and if you think that's how it works you fucked up your taxes. You pay taxes as income (not capital gains) on the difference between the strike price and the current price when you exercise. Options granted at current value are worth $0 when you get them.
@Poynter It would better for these fake “news publishers” just go out of business and die. Worthless garbage and this is made clear by the fact that Facebook can just stop linking to them absolutely no one misses their worthless content.
