The new month of June is here. As we conclude the first half of this year, may you witness a quickening in your plans, and a renewal in strength to pursue the dreams and visions that seemed to fall away.
May God empower you to victory and may resources abound to you this June.
Dear @UEDCLTD, my woman just called and said the power is off. She has a fear of the dark. Please turn the lights on so I can sleep and get off this call. Thank you.
where you are completely locked into the daily, deliberate task of protecting the shared life you are walking toward.
We had to strip away the effortless, fairytale romance of our youth and step into the unglamorous, daily labor of studying each other's shifting moods and evolving seasons. It is the living weight of the adage: a long journey tests the strength of a horse, but a long marriage reveals the true character of a soul.
You wake up and realize that the person across from you isn't a static character frozen in time. They change right in front of your eyes from one season to the next, and the real mystery is learning how to fall in love with every single new version that walks through the door.
It stops being about twisting each other to fit a comfortable mold. Instead, you face that Amos 3:3 reality where two people choose to walk together because you have agreed on the direction, even when you don't always agree on everything else along the way. We stopped looking at our differences as flaws and started realizing that...
where you can literally start dancing for him in the middle of the living room without an ounce of shame. You shout out your favorite songs using the most un-singing, terribly off-key voice that has ever existed, while he sits there laughing from the absolute bottom of his heart.
The pressure to look perfect dies out. You stop performing because you realize you are entirely loved and accepted in your loudest, messiest, most chaotic form. We spent so much time in the early stages panicking about the fire that we almost missed the moment the heat actually finished its job.
Suddenly, without any warning, Ecclesiastes 4:12 starts making practical, daily sense outside of a wedding program. The part about a three-strand cord not being easily broken stops being a nice quote and becomes your actual life.
You realize the true strength of a marriage is in the quiet endurance you build when youโre both too tired to fight about the little things. It is the living proof of the old proverb that gold is tested by fire, but a strong marriage is proven in the quiet after the storm where you are completely.....
We are thrilled to announce the successful launch of 'Cracking' at the British Council last Tuesday! ๐
Heartfelt thanks to all who joined us in this remarkable literary journey.

I can't imagine what's going through the mind of the guy in frame 3. With the way that some of these construction jobs are got, his and othersโ experience after this incident must be very heartbreaking.
Whether it was a failure from negligence, or something else, may they find closure and may God comfort the bereaved for their losses. Such a tragic day for them!

Purify and refine the bond until it finally resembles gold.
At first, we were just two raw metals throwing sparks, fiercely trying to protect our own space and our own habits in the dark. But gold doesn't get refined without a brutal furnace.
All that early friction, the uncomfortable adjustments, and the heat of our differences weren't meant to destroy us. It was heavy, it hurt, and it tested every single boundary we had. But that fire was melting away our egos and selfishness so that something completely unbreakable could form underneath.
Once you survive that intense refining process and finally learn how to read each other's unspoken needs, everything shifts. The house stops feeling like a testing ground and it finally transforms into a space of pure, unfiltered joy.
The armor comes off completely and every defense mechanism drops to the floor, and you find yourself in a place where...
โIf a couple agrees on priorities, such as building a home or educating children, both partners must contribute. It doesn't work for one person to withhold their resources while still expecting to benefit from shared outcomes.โ ~@Spartakussug
