Lawrence has two off-leash dog parks:
• Mutt Run, 1330 E. 902 Rd.
• Riverfront Park, located at the intersection of N. 2nd St. and Highways 24 & 40.
Our employee turnover is very low but YES, we are always “hiring.” No, we don’t have a lot of part time hours available for new hires but with our large staff we can always make a little room if you’re only seeking about 15 hours a week. Apply anytime!

The 15th Annual Lawrence Zombie Walk is this Thursday! As always, it's free & all ages. We will be accepting donations for @lawrencehumane and will have adoptable kittens stopping by to say hello. ☺️ There will be a costume contest, photo ops and blood bath & make-up stations.

Our dual licensed, animal rehoming center turned 34 today. In 1988 very few folks thought a marriage between an animal shelter and a pet store could work, but here we are.
