@Ahraz__@eternalbread_ It's funny arguing with a position that exists only in your head. I never said it's illogical for God to grant legislative authority to a prophet. Yet you keep refuting that imaginary claim over and over. Try responding to what I actually said, not to a strawman you've invented.
@Ahraz__@eternalbread_ Those prophets constantly pointed away from themselves and toward God. They did not place themselves at the center; their message was about God, not about elevating their own status.
@Ahraz__@eternalbread_ The message seems heavily centered on him: exceptional privileges unavailable to others, extensive legislative authority, and the power to declare things lawful or unlawful.
Compare this to the prophets in the earlier scriptures that are said to have been corrupted....
@NyxLucis1o1o@eternalbread_ Since we're discussing this, can you explain why al-Khidr killed a young boy who was simply playing and had not committed any wrongdoing ?
@Ahraz__@eternalbread_ Islam has given the Prophet an unusually elevated status, unlike the Bible, where everything centered on God and the prophet was simply a human messenger. All glory belonged to God alone. Yet this is the very idea that you accuse others of introducing through corruption.
@Ahraz__@eternalbread_ Is what is lawful and unlawful determined by human opinion and by judging what other people do and consider normal, or is it determined by revelation from God ? Should the center of my actions be God or human beings ?
@OmarMetwallia@eternalbread_ Can determinations of what is lawful and unlawful be influenced by the customs and traditions of other civilizations, as well as by what those societies consider acceptable or unacceptable?
@OmarMetwallia@eternalbread_ Ok abd Can what is considered lawful and unlawful for people be based on human reasoning and judgment, especially when that judgment is influenced by observing what others do, and the decision to prohibit something stems from that observation ? Is there a justification for this ?
@OmarMetwallia@eternalbread_ And does a messenger who receives revelation from God hesitate about what should be lawful or forbidden for people? Does he choose for himself and then reconsider? Is God's certain revelation subject to that ? Think for a moment. some logic.
@IjazTheTrini@eternalbread_ And does a messenger who receives revelation from God hesitate about what should be lawful or forbidden for people? Does he choose for himself and then reconsider? Is God's certain revelation subject to that ? Think for a moment. some logic.
@Ahraz__@eternalbread_ Why don't you ask yourselves why Muhammad is given far greater authority than any prophet in the Bible, the very book you accuse the Jews of corrupting? Why do you put your reason aside and submit it to one man instead of examining his claims logically and critically ?
@Ahraz__@eternalbread_ The amazing logic, you're defending Muhammad's uncertainty about whether to prohibit something by appealing to Islam itself, instead of using your own reason and thinking objectively and logically about the validity of a prophet who could choose whether or not to forbid something
@eternalbread_ You are amazing. You are able to reach what they hide from the general public, and it clearly and openly proves the false ideology of Islam in a striking way. But as the Bible says, the devil has blinded the minds of unbelievers.
