@AATalksBall The difference is that the named players are rarely faced with a 10 men death low blocks so have the space to do what they do. Wirtz’s clearly low in confidence and you can see that during games as he’s struggling to do the basics right. I still hope he turns it around.
@AnfieldIndex Fans expect a 9/10 every game. He’s not been that bad at all and has been consistent. With Araujo in the RB position and McAllister sitting in, it’ll only improve his performances.
@WilcoFtbl Fans have had every reason and right to criticise Gakpo as he’s not stepped up to the standards required at the club. Simply put, he was awful last season. He’s clearly upped his game this season as he has a point to prove and is fighting for his place in the team.
@LetsTalkLFCyt There were other alternatives. Endo and Chiesa both take NHG slots. Had we planned the summer the way it should’ve been done, we wouldn’t be running around like a headless chicken in the last couple of days of the window.
@AnfieldIndex@FabrizioRomano It’s realy obvious that they’re happy with their window. The last minute attempt to loan Gusto is evident of that. Well done lads. Well done 🤨
At this stage of the window, I would rather keep Gakpo than sell him only to make a rushed decision on a replacement.
Wait until January, have another go at Minteh and sell Gakpo in the summer.
(P.S Sign a defensive midfielder #lfc).
🚨❗️ Liverpool informed Cody Gakpo’s camp they would be ready to keep him at the club if there’s no replacement.
All depends on Ismaila Sarr situation.
Gakpo had agreed terms with City on Saturday but would also be happy to stay at Liverpool if club decide to close doors.
