Trying to find the signal amongst all the noise.
DIY stock analysis.
Long term investment horizon.
Spotlight on some questionable stocks: $WALD, $WEST, $ENVX, $EH, $SPCE, $ASTS, $SOUN, $NNOX. High burn rates, fragile equity, grand promises, and the race for a market miracle.
@FluentInFinance Everyone has an opinion - trust the one's coming from those who've done it. It's not rocket science either, I've just finished the market wizards series by @jackschwager - lots of ways to invest profitably, but some of the principles are remarkably consistent.
And a few more questions.
What is deemed contribution from owners of $900m on the most recent cash flow statement?
How did they raise $600m in equity capital in Q4 with the share count only increasing by 5m shares?
How does Nasdaq allow this to continue trading?
Not advice.
An upside down balance sheet, negative gross margins, huge operating losses and burning cash like a furnace, $VFS is still valued at $12bn.
So it's overvalued by 12bn imo.
Transitioning from conservative long only to include shorts was a strategic leap for me, driven by market observation: it's a jungle out there with more pretenders than performers. With meticulous risk management, shorting is another way to profit from market realities.
