@bettanyhughes Absolutely loved this! Went to Muscat with the Royal Navy while patrolling the Straits of Hormuz. My Father joined the Omani Air Force after leaving the RAF and was stationed at Masirah. Brought back a lot memories. Thank you!

@SimonCalder Got caught out coming back through Faro airport last week. Totally forgot that coming back was different! Daughter had a lot of her makeup confiscated! Then followed by chaos getting through passport control. Portugal don’t allow U18s to use e-gates!

@SummeryJen @georgecmcgavin I think it’s a great idea however, very few schools would do it. The setting up of a new GCSE is expensive and finding slots in the timetable is impossible. I’ve seen Astronomy, Geology and Environmental Science disappear and most schools only do the 3 Sciences!

Currently it’s full of wild flowers, tall grasses, all manner of butterflies, lots of birds and insects. They also said that most of the trees are rotten and will be felled except one! I must fight this but don’t know where to start!

@ChrisGPackham Hi Chris. I hope you can help me. I live in Sparkford, Yeovil. In our village they want to build 60 house in a wonderful meadow. I went to the presentation and was told that a survey had said it was of ecological poor value! I think the survey was done in winter

@tes @unisontheunion Most TAs and support staff are only paid minimum wage for the 39 teaching weeks of the year. This money is then spread over 12 months. I worked as a teacher and then a Science Tech when I retired. You cannot live on that wage. It’s okay as a top up, that’s all!
