So proud of @aman_lisa for leading @KatesClub and congratulations on their being awarded the the US Surgeon General’s Medallion, the highest honor that office can award a civilian organization. https://t.co/U2D4bzvdOb
As @peteramanATL says "when you hear anyone suggest that Buckhead leaving Atlanta wouldn’t have devastating financial consequences, know that this claim is nothing but wishful thinking."

This road washed out at Latham Creek in Hall county. Imagine when the water was across the road, the water would appear only inches deep. This is often how people die in flash flooding.
Turn around don't drown.
President Biden just nominated former @ajc managing editor @HankKlibanoff, a Pulitzer winner and creator of the @wabenews Buried Truths podcast, to serve on the Civil Rights Cold Case Review Board. #gapol
We can and must make this a better place for all! So, while I will not be running for Mayor at this time, I will be involved in various ways in 2021 and 2022 to help those in Atlanta and Georgia rise further!
Atlanta is a wonderful city and I have been honored to help it continue its rise; from the “outside” (pro bono work 2002-2009), from the “inside” (as COO 2010-2011), by helping start non-profits (Partners for Home addressing homelessness, APF, ACP, Westside Future Fund, etc).
But, we have serious challenges in public safety, equity, education, affordable housing, transportation, etc. I am committed to helping address these and other problems—like attacks on our rights to vote—in Atlanta, and in Georgia overall.
On this World Press Freedom Day, may we all uplift journalists. If you wish to transform your community, vote. If you wish to ensure those in power are held to account, support local media. The two go hand-in-hand.

Republican Senator John Kennedy asks @StaceyAbrams to give him a list of provisions in Georgia’s new voter suppression law that she objects to.
It’s a long list.
Give it a listen:
Atlanta CEOs need to step-up and publicly fight against the current GA voter suppression legislation. While they talk of “quiet pressure applied behind the scenes” it is: A) not getting the job done, and B) not true leadership in fighting for voting rights @atlchamber@bluestein
After a vast effort to challenge the eligibility of 360,000 Georgia voters, election officials rejected just a few dozen ballots, undermining false claims of significant voting fraud promoted by President Trump and his allies. #gapol https://t.co/s1qVVS2dJ4
