WHAT BIDEN'S PARDON OF FAUCI REVEALS

For those of us who lived through the chaos of COVID—who lost jobs, businesses, loved ones, and faith in our institutions—the pardon feels like a slap in the face.

Fauci wasn’t just a scientist; he was the man calling the shots. He made decisions that affected every aspect of our lives, from lockdowns and mandates to school closures and “essential” business rules that seemed to make no sense.

The pardon feels like a political move to brush all of that under the rug.

Instead of addressing the real harm caused by Fauci’s policies—harm that everyone is still living with—it feels like the administration is protecting him from accountability.

For a lot of us, this pardon doesn’t bring closure. It just reopens wounds.

What we’ve learned about Fauci over the last few years is this: he had a lot of power and wasn’t afraid to use it.

When questions came up about the origins of COVID-19 and U.S funding for research in Wuhan, it became clear that Fauci was willing to push boundaries—funding high-risk research abroad to bypass regulations here at home.

If he took the same approach with labs in Ukraine, it wouldn’t be shocking. Fauci seemed to believe the rules didn’t apply to him, as long as he could frame his actions as “for the greater good.”

When you’re playing with fire—manipulating viruses, funding high-risk experiments—when something goes wrong, the effects can be catastrophic.

His NIH-funded gain-of-function research, where scientists essentially soup up viruses to see how dangerous they could become, could easily lay the groundwork for another pandemic.

Fauci’s alleged involvement in bio-weapons development isn’t just about technical definitions—it’s about trust—or the lack of it.

Seeing how quickly COVID tore through the world, Fauci’s choices feel reckless.

Funding dangerous research abroad, ignoring moratoriums, silencing scientists who raised concerns—these aren’t just bureaucratic missteps.

They’re decisions that had real consequences for people.

If a pardon was necessary, it raises even more questions about what is being covered up.

Fauci isn’t some untouchable hero. He’s a man whose decisions hurt millions—and we deserve answers, not a pardon that wipes the slate clean.
