The conflict is officially ended through papers. However, it is worth noting that the real situations remain uncleared in that Thailand might have any other unprecedented plans or invented ideas to surprise us. (Hopefully not)

During the GBC, Thailand and Cambodia have agreed upon a 13 point ceasefire agreement!

-Cambodia and Thailand agreed to a complete ceasefire, with no attacks, troop movements, or provocative actions allowed after 28 July 2025.

-Both sides committed to treating captured soldiers humanely and returning the deceased respectfully, in line with international humanitarian law.

-They agreed to maintain open communication channels and avoid spreading false information that could escalate tensions.

-ASEAN observers, led by Malaysia, will monitor the ceasefire's implementation, and a follow-up meeting is planned within a month.

@CommonD99 @jacobincambodia Also when the UN asked Thailand to set refugee camps along the borders in the 80s Thailand benefitted alot from that. Not only did they take good care all those refugees but badly treated them as evidenced from people who experienced in that situations.

@CommonD99 @jacobincambodia Let me tell you a story about the cruelty of Thais back in 1979, when Khmer refugees fled the war not only Thailand took the least care of them instead they dumped all the refugees along Dong Raek Mountain where unexploded mines are planted and resulted in huge dead numbers
