A new era has begun in Welsh politics.
For the first time in the history of the Senedd, Reform Wales is the Official Opposition and the largest opposition group ever elected to the Welsh Parliament.
The days of weak scrutiny and cosy consensus are over. Plaid Cymru now forms the government, and it is our job to hold them to account on behalf of the people of Wales.
Our team will challenge waste, stand up for taxpayers, fight for better public services and ensure that the voices of ordinary hardworking people are heard loud and clear in Cardiff Bay.
This is a huge responsibility, and one that we take extremely seriously.
The real work starts now. 💪
My legal team have written to the BBC demanding a full on air apology and investigation into the defamatory comments made about me on Newsnight.
Enough is enough.

Nigel Farage has responded to the dreadful bodycam footage of Henry Nowak’s arrest.
He called out a two-tier culture where an accusation of being reported for being racially bias is more greater than helping a young, white man dying on the floor.
He hit the nail on the head. 👏🏽
Why have the mainstream media ignored Hope Not Hate’s activities for years while presenting them as some kind of neutral “fact checking” organisation? 🤔
Not only are there major concerns about how these organisations are funded and linked, but also about the deliberately misleading political information they have distributed while labelling it as “the truth”.
If any other organisation was accused of this level of political activity and influence, the media would be all over it. Why the silence? 👀
So let me get this straight…
During a cost of living crisis, when families are struggling with soaring bills and taxpayers are already under huge pressure, the BBC is seriously debating whether Wales should fund an official luxury residence for the First Minister?
People want lower taxes, cheaper energy, better NHS services and support with everyday living costs, not more taxpayer-funded perks for politicians.
Governments should be focused on reducing the burden on hardworking people, not trying to justify new public expense and political status symbols! 💰

I am deeply saddened to hear that the decision has finally been made to close the Cradoc campus of Ysgol Golwg Pen y Fan at the end of August.
For several years, I have fought alongside children, parents and local residents to try to save Cradoc Primary School. This was never just about a building. It was about protecting a valued community school that generations of local families have relied upon.
The claim in today’s article from the Cabinet member that the hugely controversial issue surrounding the school’s pupil capacity had somehow been “addressed” could not be further from the truth.
Since the original decision was made to close the school, Powys County Council has changed the school capacity figures three separate times. Despite that, I still firmly believe the figures being relied upon by the Council are misleading, and inaccurate.
For years, I repeatedly asked the Council to properly and independently remeasure the school using the Welsh Government’s own official methodology for calculating the capacity of a primary school. Those requests were refused, time and time again. That is completely unacceptable.
At the time the closure decision was originally made, there were 108 pupils attending Cradoc. Based on my own assessment using the Welsh Government formula, I believe the real capacity of the school was around 128 pupils. In other words, the school was NOT significantly undersubscribed and should never have been targeted for closure in the first place.
What has happened over recent years has caused enormous upset and uncertainty for children, parents, staff and the wider community. The removal of wraparound provision and other decisions taken afterwards to destroy the playground only accelerated the decline in pupil numbers.
I will continue fighting to get to the truth behind why this school was really closed, and why the Council refused to properly establish the true pupil capacity despite so many requests to do so.
Thank you to everyone who stood with us throughout this campaign.
Makerfield is now a battle between Robert Kenyon and Andy Burnham.
Robert, an Army veteran and local plumber who is certainly not a generic careerist.
Andy, who deep down wants to rejoin the EU, has already u-turned twice and let down Pakistani rape gang victims.
Vote Reform.
Disappointed not to get to ask a question during today's Senedd meeting. Here it is, I'll send it to the first minister directly.
"Llywydd, one of the most concerning things in Plaid Cymru’s own manifesto is not simply what it promises, but what it reveals about the state of confidence in the Welsh economy after decades of the same political thinking in Cardiff Bay.
Businesses across Wales are struggling with rising costs, high taxation, excessive regulation and declining confidence, yet instead of creating the conditions for enterprise, growth and investment, we continue to see more central control, more bureaucracy and more pressure placed on those who create jobs.
Small businesses, farmers and employers do not want endless strategies and slogans. They want confidence, stability and a government that understands wealth must first be created before it can be redistributed.
In many parts of Wales, businesses are holding back investment, reducing expansion plans, or simply giving up altogether because they no longer feel this Senedd is on their side.
So my question to Plaid Cymru is this: how can you seriously expect to build a stronger and more prosperous Wales if you intend to continue pursuing many of the very same policies that have already damaged business confidence, discouraged investment and held economic growth back for 27 years?"
Well, what a result.
I am absolutely delighted and deeply honoured to have been elected as a @reformparty_uk Senedd Member for Brycheiniog Tawe Nedd.
To see three Reform UK candidates elected here, after winning the overall public vote across the constituency, is something very special, and reflects the incredible amount of hard work, determination and commitment shown by our candidates, volunteers and supporters over many months.
This simply would not have happened without the people who gave up evenings, weekends and countless hours to deliver leaflets, knock doors, put up signs, organise events, campaign hubs and help spread our message across every part of this huge constituency. You should all be incredibly proud of what you have achieved. Thank you!
I also want to thank every single resident who took the time to speak to us on the doorstep over the last few months. We have had thousands of conversations right across Brycheiniog Tawe Nedd, and the support, encouragement and kindness shown to us has been overwhelming at times.
A huge thank you as well to everyone who displayed election signs, posters and banners to show their support for us. That support made a massive difference and helped build the momentum we all felt throughout the campaign.
Most importantly, thank you to my wife and family for their support, patience and encouragement throughout this campaign and throughout my years in public life. Politics demands a huge amount of time and energy, and none of this would have been possible without them beside me every step of the way.
The only sadness I feel tonight is that I have been informed I must now immediately stand down as the County Councillor for Yscir with Honddu Isaf and Llanddew, a role I have been privileged to hold since 22 June 2017.
Representing the residents, businesses and communities of my ward has been one of the greatest honours of my life. I want to sincerely thank all five Community Councils, local residents, local businesses and everyone who has supported me over the years. I have always tried my very best to stand up for our area and fight for local people.
Whilst I will miss serving as your County Councillor enormously, I feel even prouder knowing I can continue representing our communities as your Senedd Member and fighting for this constituency on the national stage.
This election has shown that people across Wales want change, and tonight history has been made.
Thank you all. 💙
