24 hours later and the full service has not resumed.

It will be another 20 minutes trying to get through the automated options, answering the ‘human AI’ advisor that can’t deviate from their script and clearing security.

Awful experience.

Trying to get a simple issue resolved by @HMRCgovuk I keep getting told “the system I require is not opening, you will need to call back”. Average 20 minutes call time to get to that point, same stupid questions each time.

3 calls and 24 hours later and still no progress.

@HMRCcustomers Got past security, then when they try to open their system it doesn’t work.

I was able to get a case reference third time, for when I call again.

Just pot luck as to whether we will be able to proceed with the system though.
Very frustrating and not very helpful.
