We need to turn the temperature down 😂😂😂

[Saul Goodman @JedMcentee1970]

@PeterJCrows Mate you’re an idiot. He’s past it. Hasn’t averaged about 31 in 3 years. Give a kid a chance

[PeterJ @PeterJCrows]

@TUnlimitedd Look at other areas. He’s come in at 1/2 in the 2nd and put on 92 with Head, goes out at 2/100. We should have capitalised on that partnership but weren’t able to so that’s on others. Far from our worst.

[PeterJ @PeterJCrows]

That’s comfortably the most ridiculous bit of cricket umpiring I’ve ever seen. No appeal for a fair catch by the fielding side, no reaction at all as everyone knew it had bounced. But they still refer it. Absolute stupidity and embarrassing for international umpires.

[PeterJ @PeterJCrows]

@TUnlimitedd How many of those innings has there been a stable opening partnership in front of him?

[PeterJ @PeterJCrows]

@JasonSman21 Do you have real data to support that or is urban legend?

[PeterJ @PeterJCrows]

Batting 3 in Tests is a tough task. You have to be careful in discarding someone that’s done it averaging 43 across 66 tests. Marnus’ issues right now are not technical, he’s getting the hardest part done by getting starts. Converting is more a confidence issue. I’d persevere.

[PeterJ @PeterJCrows]

Disappointing day but the hysteria is a bit over the top. Let’s not forget: #1 test team, haven’t lost a series since 2022/23. Since then we are 20 wins, 6 losses and 3 draws. As this series stands we are 1-0. Geez we’d be happy if our footy teams had that kind of dominance 😂

[PeterJ @PeterJCrows]

@cric_blog Career average of 37 and he makes a 50 “get him into the test team”…. Ah great to have cricket back 🤣

[PeterJ @PeterJCrows]

@Adelaide_FC Messaging out of the club has been so terrible this off season. Announce that VB is being moved out of midfield, miss out on Sheedy, who was clearly the preferred option and so we move VB back? What is the messaging there?

[PeterJ @PeterJCrows]

@aflratings_GM @aflratings 2020 was always a crapshoot thanks to COVID ruining junior footy. Thilthorpe and McDonald were no brainers as they at least had exposed league form in SANFL/WAFL.

[PeterJ @PeterJCrows]

@atsillypoint He’s 24 years old which in a cricket context is still a baby. We consistently see good bats bang around in State cricket until late 20s or 30s before working out their game - Renshaw the latest example.

[PeterJ @PeterJCrows]

@SBSNews You can…and I’d like to be very clear on this…. Go fuck yourselves.

[PeterJ @PeterJCrows]

@senzu_bean @flag_crows Obsessed with replacing Talia and in the process broke the golden rule they always preach themselves - trade for need draft for talent. In 2019 they drafted for need and it bit them badly. The talent was everywhere else around that pick

[PeterJ @PeterJCrows]

@senzu_bean @flag_crows Easy response though. Everyone makes mistakes, not an exact science etc etc. the problem with Hamish is that it’s systemic. 2018 was almost worse than 2019, 2016 was worse, add Pedlar in 2020. I just don’t know where the accountability is? Like what’s his KPIs Does he have any?

[PeterJ @PeterJCrows]

@senzu_bean @flag_crows Yep - veritable midfield buffet after Fish.

[PeterJ @PeterJCrows]

@senzu_bean @flag_crows Yep 1971

[PeterJ @PeterJCrows]

@senzu_bean @flag_crows Never understand why they push the Will Day thing. See him after the final v Freo? Embracing Mitchell and sobbing his eyes out, played in a winning final for Hawthorn. His famous grandfather’s club. But yeah he’ll hop over to the crows first chance 😂

[PeterJ @PeterJCrows]

@senzu_bean @YogeshMadhukarr Cricket was wild. They had guys with ice cold beer back packs walking around so you didn’t need to leave your seat for a refill! There’s always things we can improve on 🤣

[PeterJ @PeterJCrows]

@CrowMo99 @traderadio @RileyBev He’ll be fine, likely to get games next season with Butts gone. The offer needed to reflect the risk of taking just 2 x key defenders into a season. Wouldn’t hurt us to send a few extra $$$ his way though to smooth it over
