Saddened to hear that the great @lionsofficial flanker Fergus Slattery has left us to go hunting flyhalves in the sky. Wonderful to spend time with him @rugby_club_compiegne in 2018 with @RugbyMemorial@rdjsport
@Humberboy101@nowak_paul Really chuffed for you that you have trust in the guy who built his career telling us Brexit was a good idea and whose social media stirring gave us the #farageriots.
@Humberboy101@nowak_paul He’s paid by us all to be an MP, and had an opportunity to do his job and debate this in the House. Surprise, surprise - he didn’t. Presumably if we’d pay MPs in millions of bitcoins he’d have been there…guess we’ll all have to suffer more #farageriots
I was a prison officer, Nick. You can't preach "tough on crime." Your lot cut nearly 7,000 prison officers since 2010 and handed our jails to G4S and Serco. You broke the system, then act shocked it doesn't work.
You know what actually works? Lads out on licence getting their track tickets, learning a trade, coming home as taxpayers instead of reoffenders. That's using human capital, not warehousing it. A lad sat in a cell doing nothing helps nobody.
And funny how quiet you all go on the tax dodgers and the oligarchs bankrolling Putin's war. Boris took a Russian ex-KGB man's hospitality at his Italian villa, dodged his own officials, then made the son a Lord. Where's your "lock them up" energy for that?
This is what elite, world-class investigative journalism looks like:
Carole Cadwalladr and her team at The Nerve have forensically stripped the mask off the British political establishment.
The pattern they found in The Harborne Receipts is nothing short of terrifying. Millions of pounds flow from a crypto-billionaire into the pockets of Boris Johnson and Nigel Farage, and like clockwork, weeks later, those exact politicians start pushing laws to benefit the crypto industry.
It is the exact same playbook Donald Trump used in America. It is cash-for-policy, clear as day.
While the billionaire-owned press tries to distract us with culture wars and theatre, true journalists follow the money.
This is the toxic soil that is destroying our democracy from within.
Absolute honour to see her back in action!

Mr @christiancalgie has been busy putting out a partial version of events these last few days, amplified by yourselves.
I think it’s time all your readers had the whole story. They were all out of order and, if they had any decency, would now hold their hands up and apologise.
