It was a busy AM for our @WSDOT_East avalanche and maintenance crews up on US 2 Stevens Pass. Early-morning avalanche control brought down A LOT of snow and it took some work to clear it all. Big thanks to the crews! Lots of snow on the passes so be prepared!

The body of 54-year-old Connecticut man was found and recovered Friday by search and rescue crews on Colchick Peak. The bodies of two more climbers are not expected to be recovered until there's been "significant snowmelt."
