@DeafProgrammer@AFLcomau@AFL Thanks for slowing it down, no attempt to contest the ball, absolutely should have been reviewed, shocked if it hasn't been.
@SmallerFishGAA It could be entertaining if they were willing to take some risks, the rules need to encourage that more, 2 point arc beyond range of nearly all players, need a 3 up rule or maybe 6 up, as without it get the terrible flood defence we saw in this game, limit hand passes.
@SmallerFishGAA You can play AFL in Ireland, it's like saying there is no GAA in Australia because it's a minority sport. And because there are no Irish based players they can't be Ireland, come on it's like saying it's only the Irish soccer team if they play League of Ireland...
@SmallerFishGAA I think he would like to have been there for game, couldn't imagine playing would be a possibility, jet lag, new rules, no Gaelic training, no practice handling or kicking the ball, no tacking practice, not familiar with most of the team. Worked for Mark O'Connor as off season.
@SmallerFishGAA Why does he have to call the mark? It's not rugby.. But a fab speccie, if in AFL would be in running for at least mark of the round if not year.
@lucasaganronald In jumps horse racing in Ireland they have reserved some races for horse trainers outside the biggest stables to give the smaller ones a chance to win something.
@Mike_Quirke No doubt he had an impactful game but just quoting that number alone doesn't tell the story other than he wasn't marked. I think we need some more statistical detail, like how many were contest possessions won, how many were handpasses, how many were uncontested passes etc.
