As a PPI rep I’ve been part of the Falls in Care Homes (FinCH) project group developing their Toolkit. Gave a 15 min presentation on my experiences of being part of the group. Other speakers included 3 professors and 4 doctors. It’s nice to be included in the list of authors!

Sorry to hear of Pele’s death. I met him once when he was playing for New York Cosmos against the Jamaican national team (from memory sometime in 1975/76). I was invited to join the team on the trip from hotel to national stadium and back. I sat opposite Pele but we didn’t chat!

Very impressed with NTHFT NHS virtual ward! Being looked after at home whilst recovering from Covid with twice daily phone calls and discussion about temperature & Oximeter readings. (I’m actually ok but knowing help is available really helps if things deteriorate.)

After a busy week doing work for Healthwatch, Mind and Teesside Uni had a nice walk through Farndale to see the wild daffodils!
