@sidcelery I'm likely overestimating their competence as really you should be looking at doing this over the next few months, ideally before you start signing players without selling any or results go bad
@sidcelery The allure of 10%-12% interest to in effect extend the loan 5 years should be pitchable - We have signed an elite manager (relegation risk should be low), we have loads of players that are valuable, we had the best academy in the world which is valuable
@sidcelery Whilst we have transfer addicts and a worse squad, I do think they have shown enough ability to sell that they would be able to generate the cashflow to cover the interest and that there is enough assets still in the squads to cover the debt that they will be able to refinance
@sidcelery As much as this would be funny. I think it will be easy enough to refinanced unfortunately. If they sell Enzo, Cucu and Gusto at book profits i think they will be able to justify the model enough for another high interest loan
@SebC__ No and I haven't watched him at all so have no clue if he is any good and given our boards accument they probably don't either
But purely to play devil's advocate city have unlimited funds Italian clubs don't & if City are signing Gusto then I'm not trusting their judgement
@SebC__ I think Cucurella going is a sign they are backing Alonso, bigMac being there a massive negative as Shields' teeth will still be in the squad, but if the Italian npc has no agent links to the others than that is another tick on the alonso side
