@Mitsoren So did I, Rosalind. I was mainly looking at art in Burlington House
- a second look at RA Summer Show and also in the same building, a wonderful late Constable exhibition and an exhibition of architectural photographs. Too much for one day really.
Careful removal of paper cast from surface of sandstone block. Initially wet paper pulp is pressed onto a suitable surface. (You do not have to stand in a pit to do this..)
‘Urban Archaeology’ - paper cast and print work, included in Bath Society of Artists open exhibition at Victoria Art Gallery Bath - open for pre-booked visits from 1st. October.
@HollyBrodieArt Good luck with that Holly. You will have ups and downs, but no boss which is the great perk of the job. Unpredictable income can be a challenge.
Apologies for my wonky photograph of this splendid woven artwork. Seen at the RA Varnishing day yesterday. Possibly more artworks involving fabrics and threads included in this Summer Show than ever before. I hope this trend continues..
