@LipetzNathan You can always wear a mask to reduce risk of getting sick. If its a respiratory infection, that is. And once sick there are some things that may help, like nasal rinsing with saline solution. Very cheap and easy once used to do it

Someone involved with the Pauper Format Panel is profiting from inside information, buying more than 250 copies of Baleful Strix, Vandalblast and Dispatch from our bots yesterday before the Zeta Set announcement. I can only imagine how many copies they bought elsewhere.

@Eureka22422_MTG There is certainly a discussion to be had to nuance what an appropriate level of power creep is, but claiming people oppose power creep in general, I wonder if anyone actually does that. If you do, there are formats who don't evolve, so that's already been solved.

@tassoraptus Some people leave and some people stay (and try to discuss it, it's not a very efficient way to handle it but it's the only way, I think). And I guess you're partly doing both those things.

@tassoraptus The fact that restriction of cards doesn't exist in Legacy like it does in Vintage doesn't mean Legacy is doomed to be forever unbalanced.
But if we agree, that's a good position to take the discussion forward from. Because recognizing that balance is the issue is very unprecise.

@tassoraptus You literally wrote that the power level is sinking the format. So that's how I interpreted it. Balance, you mentioned it only for vintage, that I saw.
As you know, powerful cards need to be banned or allowed in Legacy. Sometimes the format is balanced, sometimes not.

I think we all agree that objectively, Vintage is more powerful than Legacy.
Hence, your argument is inconsistent.
I think the issue lies not in power but somewhere in or around "balance".
