@stoolpresidente Actually its ot "hockey hockey hockey" anymore. We have a lot of immigrants and our culture has changed. At the school I teach at, most of the kids dont even know hockey. Its all soccer and Bball. Canada deserved to beat S Africa. Lets see next week!
@chudmental@CBCOlympics True, and they should get one eventually, but national sports broadcasting networks show it, so its shown across the country. But ya locally, your media probably wouldn't talk about it as much
@TheSuperAJ I just saw interview with MLS commissioner.. is he saying BC Place is not suitable for Whitecaps? They literally just built the stadium and are using it for the world cup? They really going to build a new one and leave BC Place just for the lions? Doesnt make sense
@GDR84@MattYoungCTV Exactly I said the same. Here in Ottawa we get 20,000 to go watch the Panda game, and even that doesnt get on TV. So frustrating. Even if its not on TV live, they could at least show TSN highlights, but instead they gotta show 3 guys talk about the same hockey topics for 15 min
@MattYoungCTV As a football fan it's disappointing. Usports fails at marketing. I used to watch tons of CIS games on the Score back in the day. Highlights would be on sports centre. Now, they only put final 2-3 games on TV. You dont grow a brand doing that. Canada needs to support canada
@briangillam66@TSN_Sports@Sportsnet@CBC Let alone we barely can even get a CHL game, which is technically way higher level. Good luck getting Usports. Most people probably still think it's called CIS lol. Forget TSN, even CBC could have shown it for God's sakes. I actually found the game online on Gem.
@briangillam66@TSN_Sports@Sportsnet@CBC Been saying this for years. The Score used to show tons of university sports events. Now its just big money events usually from the States on TSN and Sportsnet. If it's not pro, it's usually American. Canadian stuff gets left behind. No wonder none of our content/culture grows
