@BrandTran@carfreePGH There's several better designs, but there's a challenge that the Fire Department is requiring that the bike lane not block FD access to the whole width of the road.
@carfreePGH The core problem is that people aren't casually parking in the bike lane, they're literally using it as a loading zone. Curb bumps might actually keep the various food delivery folks out, but will do nothing for the giant commercial trucks.
@SHusto77@BikePGH So, my parting thought to you is this: I want to make it so that those who drive, those who bike or scoot or otherwise roll, those who walk and those who take transit all get where they are going safely.
Yeah, making that happen is going to take away some car infrastructure.
