Rest in Peace Miss Dolly.
This is the last performance she and I did together in Dollywood for her Christmas special. We sang “Christmas Where We Are” ! What most people don’t know is Dolly moved the entire film schedule shoot date because my mom Ruthie had passed away.
Dolly Parton … You have touched the hearts of the world . You have made your mark and made it well …. A shining light that will shine on beyond the sun and moon …and certainly this crazy planet.
From this day henceforth is forever known as … at least in my broken heart 💔…. as After Dolly. A.D.

R63 000 stands between Bizana learner and Dubai dream.
A Bizana-born Grade 11 learner, Onako Madikizela, is racing against time to raise R63 000 after being selected to attend the 12th Annual Academic Achievers Tour in Dubai in December 2027, an opportunity she hopes will take her one step closer to her dream of becoming a commercial pilot. The Grade 11 learner currently attends Port Alfred High School after being selected for an Aviation Scholarship, while also attending 43 Air School. She says the journey has been challenging, but it has also opened doors she never imagined. Her journey began in November 2024 when she wrote and passed a test assessing her Mathematics, English and Science skills. Shortly afterwards, her mother received a call informing her that she had been selected for the scholarship opportunity.
This was Dolly Parton’s “farewell” video from May 2026 — and none of us realized it. Or believed it. Or wanted to believe it.
Her last words to us were: “I will always love you. Thank you.”
A police officer stopped a young man's car and, upon checking it, realized that his driving license had expired.
The police officer asked him why he was driving with an expired license.
He answered:
«They just fired me from my night job, and the money I have is only enough for me to eat, pay rent, and my bills. I am from another state and I have come here to study at university. Plus, I have a job interview».
The police officer had the option of applying the law and prohibiting the young man from driving his car, but he decided to listen to his heart.
He parked his police vehicle, helped him tie his tie, got into the young man's car and accompanied him to the interview location.
They entered together. The police officer apologized and explained the reason for the young man's delay. They hired him!
The young man got the job and obtained a temporary driving license until he raised enough money to renew his license.
That's humanity!
Please get addicted to reading about the character of God.
Not just His promises.
Because when you know His character you trust His promises even when they are delayed.
Skeemsaam storyline should be a serious lesson to every teacher out there: know your boundaries and know your responsibilities. Mr Q is an adult, a teacher and someone who knows that there are professional rules governing how educators interact with learners. A learner developing a crush on you is not something you should be flattered by or entertain especially when you understand that teenagers can develop feelings during puberty.
The learner may not have the maturity to understand the consequences, but the teacher is supposed to know better. The SACE Code is clear that educators must not court learners or enter into sexual relationships with them. So the lesson for teachers is simple: you are not responsible for a learner's feelings, but you are absolutely responsible for what you do with those feelings. Set the boundary, create distance and protect the learner. Your position as a teacher gives you power, and that power should be used to guide and protect, never to exploit.
South Africa, let’s help this woman reclaim her identity from Chidimma Adetshina. Her story sounds like a nightmare no one should have to endure, yet Miss Universe Nigeria 2024 is living the high life with lawyers up and down.
Any law firm willing to take on her case could do something truly meaningful here. @HomeAffairsZA needs to be held accountable and taught a very hard lesson. We cannot simply stand by and watch a woman suffer because her identity was allegedly stolen by a perpetrator using our courts to get away with it.
This is the young South African whose identity was stolen by Chidimma Adetshina's mother for the benefit of Chidimma.
To all South African supporters of Chidimma, this is your fellow South African that you are supposed to be supporting instead of supporting fraudster Chidimma
