I've had 10 phonecalls from people already today thinking there's no flu vaccines, all vulnerable people in at risk groups. Other colleagues are reporting similar calls.
@IrishPharmacy is the only source you should be using
The Irish Pharmacy Forum will be assisting in whatever ways we can, as we are independent of the Benevolent Fund.
The trustees of the charity are welcome to use our forum for promoting the Awards.
The Benevolent Fund is a valuable organisation to the profession of pharmacy.
The Pharmacist Awards are back, renamed the Pharmacy Excellence Awards, run in association with the Pharmacy Benevolent Fund.
The awards will take place on November 30th this year, with details forthcoming about nomination procedures and judges.

The Pharmacy Excellence Awards will encompass all of the areas of practice for pharmacists, with recognition and appreciation of the work pharmacists do.
The Pharmacy Benevolent Fund is a charity that assists pharmacists and anyone associated with pharmacy in need of assistance.
The forum is still restricting membership to identifiable email addresses only.
If you're Joe Bloggs, [email protected] is fine, [email protected] is not.
The Pharmacy Benevolent Fund is running a survey to support a review of the fund's operation and activities.
This is relevant to pharmacists across all sectors in Ireland.

Minor ailment schemes are in place internationally with great success and outcomes for patients.
@IrishPharmacy have been calling for this for years.
It's frustrating having to wait for so long for a scheme that is available across the world.
Pharmacists insist they could safely replace the GP in caring for a patient with a range of minor conditions including sore throat, hay fever, headaches and sinusitis and provide the free medication directly without prescription https://t.co/0HtMiVHwnc

It's that time again.

We still have the same rules in place for registration.
Use an identifiable email address to register and provided it is approved by the mod/admin team, your account will be registered.
Random letter/text string email addresses are not allowed.
3.5 years in operation now.
We're still growing, slowly, but there never was an expectation of users flooding the forum immediately.
A forum is as good as its members, and we have some great members.
Wearing a face mask is still advised for use on public transport and in healthcare settings to protect against #COVID19.
Anyone who wishes to continue wearing masks should not be discouraged from doing so.
