Today, I confirmed that all of us who paid for Drivers’ licenses renewal in April 2024 may never get our plastic cards until the payment expires. It’s been two years since I paid, yet mine is still not ready as confirmed by their officers at the collection point.
The implication with @FRSCNigeria is that I will have to go everywhere I’m driving to with a stamped slip until it expires in 2029. FRSC officers on the road always reject my attempt to show them the slip on my phone.
There is no official explanation from the government or FRSC for what happened to the payments we made in April 2024, and why they have not been able to produce our plastic Drivers’ licenses.
I don’t even know how to conclude this tweet.
@shubshub11@LightMakhanya1 lol, I bet I saw the same thing, after reading some comments I had to scroll back to read it again. Then felt I was the one that saw it that way
@Mr_JAGs@iyalode_civil@Lawma_gov As at 10pm yesterday around the axis of Iyana Ipaja towards Ipaja there were refuse packed from the gutters by the roadside there were no truck picking them. Can’t confirm the situation as at today
@powerfulbadeeu I had this discussion in my head earlier this morning while driving on the expressway and seeing his billboards, never knew I would see a post that share my exact sentiment. Not his fan, never has been. But seeing his progression from the days in Alimosho, I respect his grit
@OluwatobiAjayiJ I am sure in no time, you would have the first mover advantage. You are presently weathering the storm and redirecting the mindset. I remember your comment, paraphrasing "The people have to determine I deserve to experience the feel of a new thing". This can't change overnight.
@yomiable This is the exact expression, if we dig deep, she probably was born in Lagos, but she still referenced the fact she is from Kiara but live in Lagos. It is just a simple thing, I wonder why some folks find this hard to understand
